Legend Jazz Student makes All-State Jazz band…

Congratulations to Andrew Duncan. Andrew was recently notified that he made the prestigious Colorado All-State Jazz Band as the Bari Sax Player. Andrew was also made the band for both the Alto Sax and Tenor Sax section, but choose Bari Sax.

Keep up the Good Work Andrew!

Congratulations to Katie St. Gemme-Pate. Katie was selected as the 2015 1st semester Titan Band Student of the Quarter for her pursuit of musical excellence and unwavering diligence to achieving the highest level of individual and group performance. Katie is currently a clarinetist in both the Concert Band and Marching Band. Congratulations Katie, we are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Legend’s own Elizabeth Escobedo. Liz recently returned from Indianapolis, Indiana where she auditioned on Oboe and performed with the National HS Honor Band of America. Liz was 1 of only 2 students selected from Colorado for this prestigious music ensemble. In addition to having amazing performance opportunities, she also had the chance to meet and work with some of the nation’s top conductors and composers.

…Congratulations to Andy Bradfield. Andy was selected to the 2015 Colorado All-State Orchestra as the 1st chair / principal Tuba.

The All-State concert will be at Colorado State University in February. Congrats again to Andy Bradfield for this tremendous Honor.

Legend has multiple students receive…

Outstanding Solo Recognition awards at the recent 2014 UNC Jazz Festival held in Greeley, CO.

Congratulations to Daniel Thompson – Piano / Kyle Videtzky – Bari Sax / Carter Vaughn – Drums and Andrew Duncan – Alto Sax.

In addition, Kyle was also recognized as a top solo performer for the Festival.

Congrats to these musicians and the entire Legend Jazz Band on an outstanding performance at the festival!

3 Legend Band Students make…

The Colorado All-State Band. Congratulations to Kaelen G. Clarinet / Trevor K. Trombone / and Arron M. Horn… All 3 students had an amazing experience this past weekend in Greeley, CO on the UNC campus for the All-State Band. Their performance and representation of Legend HS was EXEMPLARY!

Great Job and Congrats again to these outstanding students and keep up the good work!
