…..Congratulations to Legend’s own Cody Thomson, who was just notified that he made the prestigious “Carnegie Honors Performance Series” – HS HONOR BAND. Cody went through a rigorous audition process, which began with many hours of practice, sending in an audition tape and culminated with his selection to the Carnegie Honor Band. Hundreds of students sent in audition tapes(CD’s) and only a select few made it!
He will be performing at the one and only “Carnegie Hall” in New York City with some of the most outstanding HS student musicians in the country this coming February.
Cody plays clarinet in Marching Band and Wind Ensemble as well as tenor sax in the Jazz Band. He was also the 1st Chair Principal Clarinetist and Concert Master of the 2010 Colorado All-State Small School Band. Cody plans to study music in college majoring in Music Performance and Education!
