840 students auditioned state-wide for the honor of being named to the State’s most prestigious Honor Band. We are very proud of our (2) Legend representatives. The concert will be held in Greeley, CO at the Univ. of Northern Colorado on April 14th.

…Legend Titan HS Marching Band will be hosting its 2nd annual
New and Perspective Student/Parent HS Marching Band Information Meeting for the 2012 season on Wednesday, December 14th 7:30 pm in the Legend Band Room. All NEW or Perspective BRASS and WOODWIND students who will be or are considering joining the award – winning Titan marching band and their parent(s) should attend. The meeting will be from 7:30pm – 8:30pm and is for Brass or Woodwind students who will entering the 8th or 9th grade in the fall of 2012 or HS Brass or Woodwind students that will be joining, but not currently in the Marching Band. …The Legend Titan Marching Band will add 37 new members to the 2012 Legend Titan Color Guard for the 2012 season.

Congratulations to all of the New and Returning Members. The complete list of new 2012 Color Guard Members can be found on the Legend Band Web Site under Band Programs and the Color Guard pull down tab! The Legend Color Guard will be marching almost 60 strong for the upcoming season!

1st meeting and party will be on Wednesday, December 14th from 3:30 pm – 5pm in the Band Room!

Winter Guard Line… Congratulations to Jessie Smith, Jenna Hawley and Jenny Bell. Each member had to go through a grueling audition process to qualify and make the group. Signature competes in the RMCGA circuit and performs on Saturday’s this Spring 2012! Again, Congratulations Ladies, we are all very proud of you! Keep up the good work!

The Colorado Honor Band in Concert in the Legend Theater
The Colorado Honor Band is a non-profit organization, which services students through high level music instruction and performance opportunities. The organization has been in existence for 57 years and is the oldest organization of it’s type in the Western United States. Currently – Andy Bradfield(Tuba) Kaelen Guthrie(Clarinet) and Lewis Farrar(Trumpet) are in the groups that will be performing in this concert! This is a FREE Concert and Open to the Public. Come hear some outstanding student musicians Make Some Amazing Music! Mr. Otis will be conducting the Symphony Winds!

The Legend HS Jazz Ensembles Perform in the
LEGEND JAZZ EXTRAVAGANZA!
Come Hear Your Own Legend Jazz Ensembles… Perform some of the coolest jazz sounds around! The concert is free, but as always donations for music and other Jazz Expenses are always appreciated!
Invite a Friend / Neighbor and/or Supporter of Music Education in the schools to the outstanding concert.

Thursday, December 8th 7pm… Legend HS Bands Winter Concert and Celebration7pm… Come hear the Concert Band / Symphonic Band and Marching Band perform a fun and uplifting end of Semester Concert. The concert will also feature a special performance by the Legend CGuard and the cool sounds of the Amazing Legend Jazz Band… Parents and students enjoy a hot apple cider, coffee and desserts in the lobby before and after the concert.
