Pamona HS / Marching Festival / Sat. October 1st
The Band’s 1st major competition/performance of the year‐We hope that everyone will come out and support the band!
Parents please watch your email for additional detailed information about this event from Rob Moroni… it will cover:
Maps/directions/ticket prices/where he legend parents will sit/Legend t shirts/concessions/parent support!

Itinerary
Students should eat a good healthy breakfast at Home
Color Guard / Pit and Student Crews arrive at 7:30am
All other students Arrive at Legend / 7:45am
Full Dress Rehearsal from / 8am – 10:15am
Full Guard Equip / Full Pit / Electronics and Sound
Pit truck loads at the band parking lot / 10:20am
Pit Truck and Trailer can leave for Pamona as soon as loaded…
Students will bring their instrument cases to the practice field – so the trailer can be loaded at the parking lot as well…
Guard Prepares themselves ‐ Full uniform and Make up / Band Changes into full uniform minus Jacket / 10:30am
(students get a fruit bag and munchies and water bottle as they get on bus)
Load Buses at / 11:15am / Leave Legend at / 11:30am / Arrive at Pamona / 12:15 pm
Legend Students view stadium / get water and use the restrooms provided at stadium / 12:30pm
Pit Truck and Instrument Trailer UNLOADS as soon as they arrive at Pamona…
Check sound equipment etc…
Legend HS Band warm‐up (area C) / 1:15pm
Legend HS Band Report time / 1:50pm
Legend HS Performance Time / 2pm
(parents these are exact performance times – if you are pulling up at 1:55pm you will miss the performance)
Report back to buses / To change into civilian clothes and announcements / 2:25pm
Lunch Provided by Band Boosters at 2:35pm ish
Legend Students watch remaining bands from 3pm – 4:15pm
Prelim awards and finals announcements at / 4:30pm
(which at this time we will find out if we made finals or not and then continue with the remainder of the evening’s activities.
If we make finals… the schedule will be as follows:
Depending on our finals performance times, the students will either prepare immediately or go back in and watch bands
DURING THIS TIME STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE DINNER PROVIDED BY BAND BOOSTERS
We will post our Finals time on the Legend website – but hope that many of you will be there helping with PIT and other activities and can help pass the word also…
Students may bring additional money to purchase hot chocolate etc… at the concessions provided by the Pamona Band Boosters.
Final awards will be announced at 9:30pm… Our goal is to be back at Legend by 10:45pm
