LT Marching Band has new home….

Today the new LT Marching Band practice lot was finished. Complete with all new paint and full compliment of both HS and College HASH MARKS, yard numbers, sideline guide points and now a full regulation size field. The LT marching band will be practicing and learning their field show on the parking lot this summer and during the fall season, it is located on the back side of the school in the smaller student lot to the south. The move from the old lot was precipitated by the large numbers of teachers that will be parking in the old band lot. There are also a few nice surprises on the field! See You at camp!

4 Legend band students to provide National Anthem…

4 Legend Band students will perform the National Anthem at this weekend’s Double Angel Championship Baseball Games…

Legend band students volunteer at 1st Legend Summer Elem Music Camp…

A hearty round of congratulations to Legend Band students Daniel T. Baritone/ Courtney G. Oboe/ Skye C. Flute/ Hallie K. F Horn/ Cody T. Clarinet/ Trevor K. Tuba/and Braiden O/ Trumpet – who all volunteered their valuable summer vacation time and energy by doing double duty as camp counselors and music instructors all week for more than 40 beginning elementary music students at Legend’s 1st Summer Elem Music camp. Not only did they teach, mentor and inspire other young musicians but each one said they too were enriched by the experience. The next time you see one of these Titans, congratulate them for giving back to others, without expecting anything in return. They all have great stories to share about their week at Elementary Music Camp!!!! Next Year’s camp will also include a Color Guard component…

Legend Band student competes in Miss Colorado Outstanding Teen Pageant…

Congratulations to Samantha K. who will be competing in the Miss Colorado Outstanding Teen Pageant this weekend. Samantha won the local version of this event the “Miss Parker Outstanding Teen” contest earlier this year. This event is a precursor to the prestigious Miss Colorado Pageant…Samantha is a Flute player in the Legend band and the Colorado Honor Band. She was the flute soloist for last year’s marching band field show as well! Of course one of her talents in the contest is playing her flute…..Congrats Sam!!!!!! We are all very proud of you!
