Our 2nd Annual 2011 Titan Band Golf Tournament was a great success recently. With our very own Mr. Otis, Band President Rob Moroni and Legend Titan Principal Cory Wise – they completed their group of 4 with a band parent who won the 4th spot to play with them at our Silent Auction. It was a bit cold and windy at times, but the day was still nice enough to get a round in of golf and even a chance to try for a hole in one to win a car! We thank all the parents who donated their time to help make this event successful.

Come celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer at Gotcha Yogurt, located at 11153 S. Parker Road (by IHOP). The band is having a fundraiser on Thursday, May 26th from 2:30 to 9:00 pm. You do not need a flyer, just simply mention you are there for the band and we receive 15% of your purchase. Brass and woodwinds, plan on stopping in after practice that day! Or families, come by after dinner to have dessert and visit with other band families. If you haven’t had a chance to try it yet, they have lots of different flavors of frozen yogurt and a self-serve bar full of yummy toppings. It’s a great place to start your summer vacation! Bring all your friends!

Hello Parents,

Just a friendly reminder about the MB Parent Orientation Meeting tomorrow night in the band room.(Thursday, May 19th 7pm)
Refreshments will be served!
Very relaxed atmosphere…many topics will be discussed

THIS IS NOT A BAND BOOSTER MEETING. It is an orientation meeting designed to give information about the MB program and have you ask as many questions as you feel are necessary. (Note: I may not have the answer to every question-but I will try)

The meeting is scheduled for 90 minutes, but I will be around for as long as needed after the meeting
for anyone that would like to ask additional questions.

Who should Attend? Any Titan MB parent that is new or returning to the program and just wants more info about the band.

MEETINGS LIKE THIS ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR LARGE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS OURS! BECAUSE MANY TIMES YOUR QUESTION IS THE SAME AS THE PERSON SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!

Band booster officers will be in attendance and if you want to get involved, believe me the opportunity is available.
I hope to see you at the meeting.

Mr. Otis

Join the “Summer Winds” of the Colorado Honor Band. The band is open to all MS and HS students. Several members of the Legend Band are already involved and you could also be a part of the 145 piece summer band. The band’s theme this summer is “Music of the Movies”. Yes… the band is playing the music of many great movies. It’s a blast. Meet lots of new friends and keep practicing your instrument all summer.

It’s not too late to join… for info contact Julie Larson at 303-778-6693.

See you at the movies…

IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO LOAD YOUR CARD WITH WHATEVER AMOUNT YOU WERE ALREADY GOING TO SPEND.
some families have raised $300-$500 dollars so far. All with money they would have spent anyway! It’s Easy!

Remember To Use Your King Sooper cards… this summer!!!!All of those pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters add up! For those of you not using your King Sooper Cards for Hawaii Fundraising, remember you can build up credits in your child’s account for just about anything the band is doing… Spirit Wear / 2012 Band Camp / Band Supplies etc..

If you need a King Sooper Card you may contact Allison Shride at
“Allison Shride”
