A Crafter’s Holiday Fair

LHS Titan Band Boosters present the 2nd Annual “A Crafter’s Holiday Fair”. LHS Titan Band Boosters are currently accepting applications for our 2nd Annual “A Crafter’s Holiday Fair,” on November 13, 2010.

Cost is $65 for a 10′X10′ space, and an additional $15 for electricity. You must furnish your own extension cords, power strips, tables and chairs. For more information please contact us at legend_craft_fair@yahoo.com.

as the #5 Automatic Qualifier for 4A our
CBA Semi-Final/Finals schedule for this week is as follows:

Wednesday(10/20) 10am – 2pm practice at Legend
Thursday(10/21) 10am – 2pm practice at Legend
Friday (10/22) 1pm – 3pm (Dress Rehearsal and post practice celebration)

Arrive Air Force Academy Stadium 7:30a
Unload 7:45a
Check Instruments / Uniforms and unload Pit 8:30a
Warm up at 9:15am
Perform 10:30am

(Students keep uniforms on until after finalist announcements)

*If we make finals – students change into civilian clothes
and go back in to stadium to watch 5a-Bands and wait for further instructions from me.
in the late afternoon dinner will be provided before finals to the students by boosters.
*If we do not make finals, we will eat a lunch provided by the boosters and return home after lunch has concluded.

(students may need money for concessions several times throughout the day)
(students should bring appropriate clothing for the weather that day)

4A finalist bands perform between 5:30 – 7:15
and Awards are at 10pm

Great Job Titan Band Family/LMF was a Tremendous Success!

Congratulations to Festival Organizer Suzette Farrar, her team of 15 chairs and the more than 70 parents that worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the 1st Annual Legend Marching Festival for 1A 2A and 3A bands. After the Legend Exhibition performance many of the Titan band students also stayed to work the festival.
Every band director told us how impressed they and their kids were with all aspects of the festival and that they would definitely be back next year! The CBA judges and officials were also very impressed with the efficiency and quality which the festival was run.

It was an amazing experience for all…

The Legend Marching Festival – Directions / Cost

Directions to Stadium:
From I-25 – Take exit 193, Lincoln Avenue east 3 miles to Chambers Road. Turn right (south) and go just over 2 miles to Newlin Gulch Road. Turn right for bus and truck parking. For spectators – go one block further to Newlin Gulch Blvd. Turn right and go one block to entrance to stadium parking.

From Parker Road/CO Hwy 83 – Go east on Hess Road, continue 2 miles to Chambers Road and turn right. Proceed 1 mile to Newlin Gulch Road. Turn left for bus and truck parking. For spectators – please turn left at Newlin Gulch Blvd and proceed to upper stadium parking lot.

All personal vehicles will be asked to park in the spectator parking lot.

Admission: CASH ONLY
Prelims – Adults $10 Students/Seniors – $8
Finals – Adults $10 Students/Seniors – $8

All Day Pass – Adults $15 Students – $12
Children under the age of 5 are admitted free
